Smart Kitchen


We have two modern, well equipped sophisticated kitchens with a Bakery Unit at Hafeezpet Industrial area Hyderabad from about seven Kilometers from Hi-tech City. We have a central processing kitchen with a built-in area of 2800 Sft. and is well equipped with the requisite types of equipment for bulk cooking. The production area is well scintillated, places are defined for specific purposes. The kitchen has an exhaust system and a fresh air system for air circulation.

And the second one, we have started a new kitchen in September 2017 with a built-in area of 4800 sqft. With HACCP standards with all modern equipment accompanying bakery & confectionery exclusively for our internal usage to reach our client’s requirement.

Stores


We have central stores which procure items for all our units. The received material will be cleaned, graded and repacked as per the required quantities accordingly to the indents received. We follow the FIFO method in the disbursement of material. All canned products & shelf life of products will be checked for the FSSAI & ISI standards and expiry dates will be checked periodically

Vegetables & Fruits: We procure the fruits & vegetables direct from farms and seasonal fruits from the fruit market. The received vegetables/fruits are cleaned, graded, sanitized and sent to all of our units in Hyderabad daily.

The kitchen is equipped with the following equipments.

Micro Combi Ovens, Cook Walks, Rice Washers having the latest technology SS top Gas Single Burners, SS Top Gas Twin Burners, SS top Heavy Duty Single Burner, SS gas-fired Steam Boiler. 8`x8`x8` walk-in Cold Rooms with chiller. Wet grinders, Instant Pulverizes for consistency of Dough or Gravy’s, Deep Freezers, Dough Kneading Machine. Potato Peelers, Vegetable Cutting Machine, Ro Water plant, Baking Unit etc. Walk-In coolers etc.

Vehicles


The kitchen is equipped with the following equipments.

Prism has seventeen covered vehicles in its fleet comprising of twelve Mahindra Boleros, One Eicher and Two Ashok Leyland and Two Maruti Omni for transporting food & Goods. All vehicles possess the necessary documents with FSSAI License and are driven by experienced drivers.

Production


Prism on its rolls has a team of Chefs who have over ten to twenty years of experience in the profession and are well versed in different cuisines. They are advised and trained by our corporate Chef who has a Diploma in Hotel Management and has over twenty years of experience in Indian and Continental cooking. The department is led by one of the directors of the company.

Dispatch


The prepared food is handed over to the dispatch section to pack in the steel containers/cambro boxes to maintain the food temperatures. And the containers will be sealed with cling wrap. The food containers will be dispatched to the relevant units.

Cafeteria


Service is handled by the Unit Manager with support staff. The staffs are well-trained waiters and stewards. The Stewards, Waiters and Manager are in constant touch with the guests and take their feedback on the quality and taste are then relayed back to the kitchen for the corrective measures to be taken. All staff is sensitized on personal Hygiene and cleanliness at the workplace and follows the standard operating procedures set down by the company for example wearing headgear and gloves while handling food, to be courteous to the guest.

Staffing


The workload is assessed by the management and staffing is done accordingly. The unit will be headed by a Unit Manager if it is off-shore or it will be headed by a Chef Manager if it is an on-shore operation. They are supported by Supervisors and Assistants.



Event management services

Hygiene and Cleanliness


Utmost importance is given to Hygiene and Cleanliness; Staff is regularly trained on the subject. Periodical Medical Checkups are done of the staff. All records are kept for safety purposes in terms of H.S.E. Standards.

All Statutory requirements as required by the law are followed by the company. The necessary documents will be provided as and when required and maintains all the Compliances.

We are the official caterers for SPECIAL EVENTS held at Confederation of Indian Industry, Bharath Heavy Electricals Limited, Asian Paints Ltd, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Central Research Institute of Dryland and Agriculture and also for Medha Servo Drives (P) Ltd., Polaris India Pvt. Ltd and Krishna Institute of Medical Science, Hyderabad. We also conducted the event of “Her Excellency President of India” in Hyderabad.
